We are a North Devon based family company, covering all of North Devon. We will happily come and provide a free estimate for any of your gardening needs.

Here are some of the services we provide:

Garden maintenance; including Hedgecutting, Shrub Shaping, Strimming/Brushcutting, Grass Cutting, Pruning, Tree and Shrub Planting, Rotovating, Clearance of neglected areas. Also disposal of Green -Waste (registered waste carrier), all aspects of garden work carried out.

Tree Surgery, providing an efficient competent safe service, including aspects such as Felling, Dismantling, Pruning, Topping, Shaping, Thinning, Reduction, Planting, Crown Lifting, Preservation and Site Clearance, also including Traffic management if required. All tree works complying to British Standards, fully insured and NPTC qualified.

Landscaping, a professional and creative work ethic means our knowledge and experience will help meet your needs, here is some of the work we carry out. Work carried out includes Chippings for low maintenance gardens, Turfing, Ponds, Fencing, Rotovating, Tree and Shrub Planting, Wild Flower Meadow areas, Raised Beds using Sleepers, Levelling areas, General Groundworks and all aspects of Soft Landscaping, as well as sustainable and environmentally friendly natural areas.

Established in 1986; Bray's Garden Services, was founded by;

John Bray BSc (Hons), who initially worked as a Gardener in charge of a large estate garden, later progressing to owning and operating a commercial plant nursery in Devon.

John is qualified with the RHS General Certificate in Horticulture, as well as attaining an honours' degree in the Social Sciences with Environment, and Diplomas in Market Gardening and Environmental Policy.

This enables the company to provide clients with a high quality service and professional advice on any Horticultural or Environmental needs.

Simon Bray NDArb, is a qualified Tree Surgeon and Gardener who has studied at Bicton College of Agriculture and attained an Extended National Diploma in Arboriculture and Forestry (NPTC), which allows all areas of Tree Work to be carried out. Simon also achieved the 'Fr Jones and Son Award', for being the Top Practical Student in Arboriculture and Forestry at Bicton during that year. Simon also has practical experience in all aspects of horticulture, including working with a commercial nursery based in Devon.
