Cheltenham Park View Guest House

Welcome to Parkview Guest House...

Parkview is a fine Regency house which stands in Cheltenham's nicest area. It was built in the early part of the 19th century and still has most of the original internal features from that period. The accommodation consists of comfortable twin rooms and are equipped with Freeview televisions and coffee/tea. Hairdryers and ironing boards available on request. While it is only five minutes walk from the centre of Cheltenham, the house lies within Pittville Park with its' boating lake, many specimen trees and Regency Pump Room thus providing a peaceful place to stay.

The bedrooms are large and airy and equipped with colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, and have views onto Pittville Park.

Cheltenham Park View Guest House

Pittville Park in which the house stands, was created in the second decade of the 19th century, as an area of 'walks and rides', by Joseph Pitt, together with many fine and imposing houses, for the famous people who came to live in Cheltenham. So today this house enjoys, not only a position which is beautiful as it is quiet, but which is only a ten minutes walk from the centre of Cheltenham.

Location:

Cheltenham is the most complete Regency town in England and has a wonderful variety of quality shops and restaurants. It is also the venue for festivals of music, literature and horse racing while the two theatres provide a stage for players from around the country. A short drive brings the country lover to the glorious Cotswolds.

There are numerous villages and hamlets to explore and lunch in a Cotswold pub of a 'pint and a ploughman's' is hard to beat.

The attractions at Bourton on the Water, which is not far off, are famous throughout the world and include the Model Village, Birdland and the Motor Museum all set with a background of the gentle river Windrush. Cheltenham and the area around is surely the best of England.
